L'Arc ~ en ~ Ciel (Raruku An Shieru) is the name of the music group the flow of Japanese J-Rock. Band of Hyde (vocal), ken (guitar), tetsu (bass), and yukihiro (drums). This music group was founded by Tetsu in February 1991. The name "L'Arc ~ en ~ Ciel" is derived from a word in French which means "curve in the sky" or "rainbow", the name is taken from the title of a French film that was called by Tetsu.

In Japan alone, the band has sold more than 25 million albums and single copy.

Former personnel who had to strengthen this band:

• Sakura (drums) (1992-1997) was replaced by Yukihiro because drug use and prison entrance.
• Hiro (guitar) (1991-1992)
• Pero (drums) (1991-1992)
